TRANSPORT: The parisienne takes a TAXI

There are lot of taxis in Paris. There are a lot to know about them...
The more important things is to take a Taxi, which have on the top of the car the sign, which you can see on the picture.
When you will arrive at the airport after having taken your luggages, you will probably meet standing people who say that they are taxi, DO NOT TAKE THEM (they are not taxi and they do not have insurance, so you do not know what will happen) so just follow the TAXI's sign in the airport and queue up. You will be welcome by taxi, which have a special number, which you will be able to see inside and outside the car, to identify them.
Some of the drivers work for their own and other for company. There are 2 mains taxi's companies :
Taxis Bleus, telephone number : 0 891 70 10 10
Taxis G7, telephone number : 01 47 39 47 39
When you reserve by phone in the busiest time of the day (around 7 to 9am and around 6 to 8pm), you may be need to give your credit detail in order to charge and guarantee your reservation.
When you are in the car, the taxi charges you 2,20 euros and then it is a meter.
The minimum fees are 5,80 euros.
To take a taxi in the street, you can catch him with a hand sign or to go to a taxi's station and queue up (if you sign a taxi close to a taxi' station, he will not pick you up, because he is obliged to go to the station and pick up the first person on the queue).
